The 1783-US6T2TG2H is a Stratix 2000 Ethernet unmanaged switch. It has a total of 10 ports available, with 6 fast Ethernet + 2 Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports and 2 fast Ethernet single-mode preinstalled fiber SFP modules SFP ports. Note that you need to buy the SFP modules separately if you want to use them with your switch. Its broadcast storm threshold, particularly in terms of packets per second, is 128 pps for 10/100/1000 Mbps. This switch comes with green/yellow status indicators that allow you to see its power supply status, port speed status, and network status. Note that the 1783-US6T2TG2H switch has an open-type enclosure. When using a ground connection, the wire should be 2.5 mm2 (14 AWG) copper wire that is suitable for 187 ËšF above the surrounding temperature outside the enclosure when used with a suitable ring terminal. For a DC power connection, the required wire size is 4-0.25 mm2 (12-24 AWG) twisted-pair copper wire that is also suitable for 187 ËšF above surrounding ambient temperature outside the enclosure.
