The 1791DS-IB12 input module is a safety input module from the Guard I/O 1791ES and 1791DS series. It comes with 12 input channels. The 1791DS-IB12 safety input module has the North American Hazardous Location approval rating. It is easy to mount this safety input module on a DIN Rail with its DIN Rail attachment hook. The 1791DS-IB12 safety input module has no enclosure and its I/O power supply voltage range is from 20.4 Volts DC to 26.4 Volts DC.
The 1791DS-IB12 CompactBlock DeviceNet module is a safety I/O module that has 12 current sinking safety inputs, as well as 4 current sourcing test outputs. Its input current is 6 mA, with a maximum current of 1 mA when in the off-state. The voltage is a minimum of 11 Volts DC when in the on-state and a maximum of 5 Volts DC when in the off-state. The module’s output has a 1.2 Volts maximum residual voltage, a 0.7 A rated output current, and a 0.1 mA maximum leakage current. The 1791DS-IB12 module’s I/O power supply voltage ranges from 20.4 to 26.4 Volts DC, with a nominal voltage of 24 Volts DC, while its communications power supply voltage is 11 to 25 Volts DC, and its communications current consumption is 110 mA at 24 Volts DC.
