The 2198-H025-ERS is a Kinetix 5500 Servo Drive. This Servo Drive is directly compatible with the CompactLogix, ControlLogix and GuardLogix controller for implementing Integrated Motion over Ethernet/IP. This drive is powered by an input supply voltage range of 195-264V rms, 3-phase with 240V nominal voltage and 324-528V rms, 3-phase with 480VAC nominal voltage. This drive delivers a continuous output current (rms) of 8.0 A, peak output Current of 11.3 A and output power of 4.0kW - 8.3 kW depending on the input voltage supply.
The 2198-H025-ERS is a motion and position control drive that is part of the 2198 product bulletin. This product is a Kinetix 5500 Ethernet I/P Servo drive that comes with modern control and connectivity features. This drive is compatible with the the Studio 5000 Design environment for implementing integrated architecture. Using the integrated architecture and the integrated dual Ethernet communication interfaces 2198-H025-ERS may be fully integrated to CompactLogix, ControlLogix and GuardLogix controller platforms. Integrating this Kinetix drives to these controllers enables access to the drive parameters through add-on instruction and profiles. This can be further connected to visualization systems such as ’s FactoryTalk View SCADA system and PanelView Human Machine Interface (HMI) system
