The 2711-K5A5 is a Panelview 550 Standard Operator Terminal. It has Ten (10) Function keys and a Keypad operator interface.
The 2711-K5A5 Human Machine Interface (HMI) hardware belongs to the Bulletin 2711 PanelView Standard Operator Terminals. This PanelView terminal features a cost-effective and compact solution for implementation of real-time and accurate monitoring and control station of the process or machine. It easily connects to a wide variety of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) including the PLC5, SLC500, CompactLogix, MicroLogix and ControlLogix controllers.

The 2711-K5A5 Human Machine Interface (HMI) is capable of connecting single or multiple processes however, ideally used for small applications as it has a 5.5-inch screen with display area of 120 x 60 mm (4.75 x 2.38 in.) and resolution of 256 x 128. Control is implemented using the keypad assembly which features Ten (10) function keys that can be assigned with local and global variables. It also has numeric and navigation keys that are used to enter variables and select objects, icons and move from one screen to another.
