The 2711P-K4M20D is a graphic operator terminal from . It is part of the PanelView Plus 400 operator terminal. It is a Human Machine Interface (HMI) device that is powered by an external supply voltage range of 18-30VDC with 3.8-inch Grayscale passive matrix, film compensated super-twist nematic (FSTN) display. It has a keypad assembly that acts as the operator interface and provided with multiple communication interfaces such as, One (1) Ethernet, One (1) RS-232 and Two (2) USB ports.

The 2711P-K4M20D is a PanelView Plus 400 operator terminal. This operator terminal is used by plant operators to monitor and control industrial machines or processes through the provided 3.8-inch monochrome display screen and embedded keypad assembly.

With a monochrome screen, this operator terminal can be designed with black and white graphics. Additionally, the 3.8-inch display screen can be optimally designed to provide graphical or textual representation of the process, providing the required control and monitoring points of the process. The embedded communication interfaces with this operator terminal includes One (1) Ethernet, One (1) RS232 and Two (2) USB interfaces. Ethernet supports 10/100 Mbps communication speed over LAN cables and may be implemented up to 100 m range which may be extended by using ethernet switches or media conversion. This communication interface support communication with simultaneous automation partners. With RS232, point-to-point communication is achieved over short distance communication. This port supports DF1 and DH485 communication. USB ports are primarily used to connect peripheral devices such as mouse, keyboard and removable flash drives.

This operator terminal is powered by an external supply voltage of 18-30VDC with nomonal voltage of 24VDC. It has a power consumption of 25 W max (1.0 A at 24V DC). It is installed with a Grayscale passive matrix, film compensated super-twist nematic (FSTN) display along a Light Emitting Diode (LED) backlight. The embedded function keys of this operator terminal are composed of function keys, navigation and numeric keys with 1 million actuation rating and operating force of 340 g.
