2711P-RP7 logic module

The PanelView Plus 2711P-RP7 is an logic module with 256 MB of RAM that works with PanelView Plus CE 700-1500 terminals with a DC power source. It is a Marine-certified module that can work in harsh industrial environments and at high temperatures. The 2711P-RP7 is compatible with the FactoryTalk View ME software that runs on the Windows 6.0 Operating System.

Because the logic module works as the central processing unit of a terminal, it has all the capabilities this operation needs. Besides the default features such as ActiveX controls, an FTP server connection, and third-party support, there are optional extended features such as remote desktop connectivity, media player options, and the Microsoft Office suite. This unit runs with 24 Volts DC power and it communicates using the ControlNet network and it runs using the Windows CE 6.0 operating system. The RS View ME software helps to match the exact version of the CompactFlash module with the 2711P-RP7. There are dedicated slots for Ethernet, serial connectivity, and USB ports. Communication is made through ControlNet running on Windows CE 6.0 and the 2711P-RSACDIN is used as a remote power supply for the 2711P-RP7.

he 2711P-RP7 comes with an internal memory amounting to 256 MB Flash and 256 MB Random Access Memory (RAM). It comes with Microsoft Windows Compact Embedded (CE) operating system that provides a user-friendly configuration environment. It is also installed with FactoryTalk Machine Edition runtime that is fully licensed and activated. This software provides the runtime environment of the downloaded application. With the 256MB Flash memory, the 2711P-RP7 supports FactoryTalk ViewPoint software, used for viewing the HMI screen via a standard web browser over the Ethernet network.

The 2711P-RP7comes with One (1) Ethernet Communication Port, One (1) 9-Pin Sub-D Serial communication terminal for point-to-point communication and supports DF1 protocol. It also has Two (2) USB ports for connection of peripherals such as mouse, keyboard, USB drive and printer. This logic module also houses the 24VDC Power supply terminal and comes with a power dissipation of 70W.

The 2711P-RP7 is designed to be installed and operated in Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, D, Class I, Zone 2, Group IIC, Class II, Division 2, Groups F, G, Class III and ordinary, nonhazardous locations.
