The DEP 208 represent a capacitive load without any discharge bypass resistor. When using a sensor that cannot drive a capacitive load you should
use 120 k Ω, 1/4 W resistors (approximately) across the input terminals of
the DEP 208. This ensures accurate switching of phase firing type solid
state sensors by ensuring that the capacitor discharges within the sensor’s required 50 ms.
