The GE Fanuc IC200DBI001 module is a DeviceNet remote network interface module. It supports 8 I/O modules per station.
The IC200DBI001 module is a GE network interface module. It runs as a controller for a set of I/O modules. It is powered directly on the network interface unit. It is a DeviceNet slave module that is compatible with different communication protocols including the multi master, peer to peer, and master/slave protocols. It can connect up to 64 nodes without using any bridging or router devices. It can be connected with 8 I/O modules for each station. The front side of the IC200DBI001 interface module is equipped with LED indicators. It has "PWR," "OK," "FAULT," "MOD," "NET," and "FORCE" indicators. When power is applied to the module, the "PWR" LED illuminates, and a green "OK" LED indicates a functioning network unit. This network interface module is able to process up to 128 bytes of input and output data at a time.
The IC200DBI001 interface module supports polling for data transfer. The data rate of the module is variable and it supports different baud rates of 125, 250, and 500 Kbaud. The network module is certified with the CE and cULus standards. It has been certified to operate in Class 1 Division 2 rated environments with an ambient temperature set between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius. The rear side latch can be used to mount the module in an industrial setting. The IC200DBI001 interface module consumes a total of 160 milliamps of current from the 5 Volts bus and 10 milliamps from a 3.3 Volts source. There are different types of connectors that are present in the module. It has the 5-pin standard open style connector and it supports the V+, CAN_H, Shield, and CAN_L, V0 signals.
