The IC200MDD843 discrete mixed module is manufactured by GE Fanuc as part of the Versamax series. It combines both inputs and outputs into a single product. This GE Fanuc discrete mixed module has a maximum of 16 outputs and inputs divided into 2 separate groups consisting of 10 input points in the first group and 6 relay output points in the second group. The input points for the IC200MDD843 module are available in 2 different types that are the sourcing type and the positive logic type. Also, the module’s output points can accommodate up to 8 Amps of current. This Versamax discrete mixed module draws its primary power from the backplane mounted on the PLC rack, but for the additional loads, the module will need a secondary source of power. It draws an increasing amount of power from the backplane depending on the number of active output and input points up to a maximum current rating of 190 milliamps.
