The Bailey Infi 90 Modular Power System provides +5, +15, -15, and +24 VDC to power process control modules and field termination devices. The system consists of the power entry panel; fan assembly; power supply modules and their mounting unit; bus bars; and associated wiring. The power modules provide scalable power for logic and I/O functions through N+1 redundancy. In this type of redundancy, power modules equally share output. If any power module fails, the remaining power modules adjust their outputs to meet the total system load. Therefore, redundancy can be provided by one extra module beyond the minimum number required to power the system.
