Description
Here is a QMS-1050 in good overall condition, being sold as is for parts as it could not be tested or powered onsite.The QMS-1050 power supply. for the QST-2002 High Field Tester is an engineering test system for characterizing the performance of MR Heads at the Head Gimbal Assembly level at magnetic fields up to 15,000 Oe.
In order to turn on the FMR system, all of its components must be powered on, including FMR Analyzer, QMS1050B,QPS-1050, QST-2002. All of those and the QPS Splitter modules have an LED indicating of whether the power is on. The tester consists of three functional components. The first, QST-2002, is test electronics module, that is responsible for supplying reader bias current, measuring reader resistance, amplitude, noise characteristics and so on. The QST-2002 needs QPS-1050 to work and the transverse field magnet. The magnet can be connected directly to the QPS-1050 or through the QPS Splitter box. The system also uses 2xBar Gen3 for standard reader measurement, so SystemÆTester Configuration must be set to 2xBAR G3.
