The junction box is combined with the shielded cable to provide a low noise signal terminal. Scb-68a integrates a redesigned mechanical housing, a removable magnetic cover, DIN guide rail bracket and self-healing fuse wire. The junction box can be compatible with single / double connector multi-functional I / O with 68 pin connector. Scb-68a also includes two general breadboard areas
The SCB-68A features a general breadboard area for custom circuitry and through hole pads for interchanging electrical components. These through hole pads allow filtering, 4 to 20 mA current input measurement, open thermocouple detection, and voltage attenuation. The open component pads allow you to easily add signal conditioning to the analog input (AI), analog output (AO), and PFI 0 signals of a 68-pin or 100-pin DAQ device.
This chapter describes how to connect and use the NI SCB-68A with 68-pin or 100-pin data acquisition (DAQ) devices and other NI products with a 68-pin SCSI or VHDCI I/O connector.
