Model TLZ07-DA (tabletop) — a compact external unit with a built-in
power supply and fan
If you have one SCSI tabletop device already connected to your system, you
can connect the TLZ07-DA drive or TLZ7L-DA autoloader to that device. For
drive to drive connections, use the 50-pin to 50-pin SCSI signal cable (PN
17-01351-01) supplied with the tabletop drive.
Connect the other end of the SCSI signal cable to either SCSI connector
on the TLZ07-DA drive or TLZ7L-DA autoloader, observing the correct
orientation of the cable connector
The shows the front and rear views of the revised version TLZ07-DA tabletop tape drive. The tape/activity indicator, write protect indicator, and tape unload button have been repositioned with respect to the TLZ07-DA tabletop tape drive of the owner’s manual. There is a slight difference in the operation of the LED indicators between the original version and the revised version.
Section 2.3 of the owner’s manual indicates that the SCSI ID of the TLZ07-DA
tabletop drive is factory preset at 5. There is no factory default setting. You must first check the tabletop drives to ensure that no address conflict exists before you install the drive
