The 2711P-RP6A module is a CE logic module for the PanelView Plus CE terminals from . It comes with 128 MB of flash memory and 128 MB of RAM and it supports AC input voltage. The 2711P-RP6A module is marine certified and it is compatible with the ViewPoint software. The power to the terminal must be disconnected before replacing or installing any components. Failure to do so may result in terminal damage or in electric shock. A properly grounded ESD wristband should be worn while working with terminals like this one and the work should be performed in a static-free environment. 

Features available on the 2711P-RP6A module include status indicators, an Ethernet port, a serial port, 2 USB ports, a CompactFlash card slot, and input connections for AC power. If the internal RAM and CompactFlash are ordered separately, then these must be installed before the logic module is connected to the display module. To install or replace the RAM, the sequence of steps are to turn the logic module to export the circuit board, locate the RAM module, pull away the metal retaining clips, and slide out the RAM module and then insert the new RAM module at a 45-degree angle. To install or replace the internal CompactFlash memory, the sequence of steps are to turn the logic module to export the circuit board, unscrew and remove the retaining clip which secures CompactFlash card, pull out the internal CompactFlash card, insert the new card, and reattach the retaining clip. A Belden 7921A shielded Category 5e Ethernet cable should be used for compliance with the Marine emission standards. The maximum Ethernet cable length is 100 meters. The working temperature range for the 2711P-RP6A module is from 0 to 55 degrees Celsius.
