It operates in tandem with a display module and it provides the display module with memory, processing power, and various communication ports. The 2711P-RP6D CE logic module features 128 MB of flash memory and also 128 MB of RAM.
's 2711P-RP6D logic module has 128MB flash memory and runs on isolated DC power. It is a logic module in the PanelView Plus 700 to 1500 series of terminals that can handle simple and complex operations. The 2711P-RP6D’s adaptability is its chief feature. It can interface with almost every PanelView Plus terminal or PanelView Plus CE terminal in the 700 to 1500 series. The 2711P-RP6D is a single application platform with USB ports, serial ports, and Ethernet slots for connecting to other devices.
The 2711P-RP6D’s regular features include Active X controls, an FTP server, and the ability to connect with several extended features such as Microsoft Office and a media player. The CompactFlash compatible with the 2711P-RP6D is the 2711-RW2. The 2711P-RP6D and other PanelView Plus 700 to 1500 terminals can be converted to PanelView 6 terminals with the 2711P-RP8D module. When making connections, make sure the output is isolated from the input and grounded to avoid harm to the device.
