's 2711P-RP7A logic module has 256MB of flash memory which works on AC power ranging between 100 and 240 Volts AC. This logic module is suitable for a variety of applications ranging from simple to complex in every industrial condition. Mated to work with PanelView Plus CE 700-1500 terminals, the 2711P-RP7A is based on the FactoryTalk software running on Windows 6.0 CE operating system. Make sure to use the proper version of the FactoryTalk software. For process identification, the 2711P-RP7A has various indicators.

This logic module can devise efficient productivity for simple as well as complex applications. Make sure to route the incoming lines to the device away from the communication connection cables as this can harm the device. There are various inbuilt features on the board such as FTP server connection and ActiveX controls and there are extended features such as a media player and remote desktop connectivity. The integral ports on the 2711P-RP7A for communication are electrically-isolated differently, depending on the catalog number. For those applications that require PanelView 6 terminals, the 2711P-RP8D port can be used. Dedicated slots for USB ports, RS-232 serial ports, and Ethernet ports are available by default. Remove the communication module before replacing the 2711P-RP7A.
