The 2711P-RR256 SODIMM memory module belongs to the PanelView Plus series of terminals and accessories. It is a RAM memory unit that comes with 256 MB of storage capacity. This memory module is specifically designed for the PanelView Plus 700 to 1500 series terminals. The 2711P-RR256 RAM module provides both storage and program memory to the PanelView terminals that it is compatible with. This RAM memory unit offers storage space for the file system and the firmware as well as the system database. The program memory offers the functions that are needed to store the application code and run-time data. It also provides specialized storage for the Windows CE.NET operating system. The 2711P-RR256 SODIMM memory module belongs to the Series A line of PanelView products.

The 2711P-RR256 SODIMM memory module is a small dual in-line memory module which is built as an integrated circuit board. The weight of the module is light and the dimensions are 6.3 x 2.5 x 2.5 centimeters. The applications programmed in the PanelView operator interface terminal allow the system to allocate the memory into storage memory and program memory. The users can allocate the memory by moving the slider on the terminal’s memory tab. The 2711P-RR256 SODIMM memory module can load applications from the flash memory to the program memory at power up as auto-start programs. Additional flash memory can be used to expand the capacity of the storage memory. This small and thin memory board can be easily installed using a screwdriver. It provides a flexible configuration, easy system upgrades, and easy installation. It comes in a variety of sizes and it can be ordered in a bundle with the logic module or separately. It can handle program storage, operating system storage, and the user program storage.
