The 2711P-RW7 is an Internal Compact Flash (256 MB) for PanelView Plus CE terminals. The compact flash is delivered with FactoryTalk View ME software recorded on it. This software is used to run applications on PanelView Plus CE Human Machine Interface. With 256 MB of memory capacity, the 2711P-RW7 is one of largest Internal Compact Flash cards available. Logic modules, as one of main parts of PanelView Plus CE series terminals, are ordered and shipped with or without Internal Compact Flash memory installed. The purpose of buying the 2711P-RW7 can be to install this card on a logic module delivered without it or to replace it on an already operating terminal. This might be the case when the card is broken or if the user simply wants to expand the module’s memory capacity.

To install this item, the power supply on the terminal must first be turned off and the logic module detached from the display module. Turn the logic module over in order to see a PCB with the slot for the internal compact flash card. This slot is positioned in the middle of the PCB. Insert the card and fasten it with the retaining clip. There is an option of data copying from the old internal compact flash card to the new one. This is conducted by putting the old card into the external compact flash card slot and by starting copying procedure through the panel’s file management tool. This memory module can operate at 0 to 55 degrees Celsius (32 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit) temperatures. The product is obsolete (production is terminated in 2012).
